Tripoli Documents Link CIA to Qaddafi Spy Operation [Updated]

After the fall of Tripoli, documents belonging to Qaddafi’s intelligence chief were found suggesting the CIA, as well as Britain’s MI-6 spy agency, sent terrorism suspects to Libya for questioning and even conducted phone traces for the Libyans. Update: Human Rights Watch, which uncovered the trove, now say there’s evidence the spy agencies helped Qaddafi persecute dissidents. [NYT]
