Annie Lowrey Leaving Slate for the New York Times

The business and economics reporter is departing the online magazine after almost exactly a year writing the Moneybox column, Intel has learned, and will instead work as an economic policy correspondent at the Times. Lowrey wrote previously for the Washington Independent and Foreign Policy. Before jumping into her new gig, where she’ll join business reporter Binyamin Appelbaum and new Washington bureau chief David Leonhardt, Lowrey will marry fellow young D.C. journo-star Ezra Klein.
