Technically this happened on October 3, but it just came to our attention: On The CW’s new Rachel Bilson vehicle set in Alabama, Hart of Dixie, a teenage blogger explains to Bilson’s expat New York character that she’s up to speed on Gotham thanks to Sex and the City DVDs and something a little nearer and dearer to our hearts. “I read the Daily Intel,” she says. “I bet you’re a Carrie. I’m a Charlotte,” she also adds. If only she had said, oh, something like, “I’m an Intel Dan,” maybe we would have been ready to consider this as a new Greatest Show of Our Time.
