New Yorker writer and airport bookstore ideas man Malcolm Gladwell recently linked up with Bank of America for three speeches "to deliver quality education and actionable advice to small business owners in various markets throughout the country," the company announced in a retroactive press release. As reported in these pages, Gladwell has been known to pocket $80,000 for one appearance and, predictably, does not self-identify as a 99-percenter.
