Peter Brant’s SP Newsprint Is Bankrupt

NEW YORK - APRIL 27: (L-R) Julian Schnabel and Peter Brant attend a special screening of Jean-Michel Basquiat: The Radiant Child presented by NOWNESS & Arthouse Films at MOMA on April 27, 2010 in New York City. (Photo by Astrid Stawiarz/Getty Images for NOWNESS)

The Connecticut-based newsprint company owned by billionaire Peter Brant, a noted art collector and the man behind magazines like Interview and Art in America, filed for bankruptcy yesterday, not unlike what happened to Brant's White Birch Paper Co. in 2010. The guy was able to salvage his marriage to Stephanie Seymour, but he still hasn't managed to save print media. Priorities!
