John Heilemann on Last Word: The Luck of Mitt Romney

By

Our own John Heilemann spoke with The Last Word's Lawrence O'Donnell from Iowa last night to discuss how de facto GOP front-runner Mitt Romney appears to be riding into Iowa on Easy Street, out-fund-raising opponents who are busy attacking Ron Paul over controversial newsletters and benefiting from a Bachmann campaign on the verge of collapse. "[Romney] has not faced a significant negative campaign from any of his rivals over the course of the last year," Heilemann said. "I can't think of a better definition of 'good luck' than that." See more in our video clip.

And on today's Now with Alex Wagner, Heilemann discusses Rick Santorum's sudden rise in the polls: "It seems it is now Rick Santorum's time in the sun," Heilemann said.
