John Liu Has Done Some Office Renovation

There's been a big renovation project in John Liu's office: The city comptroller had cubicle walls torn down to create an open bullpen atmosphere. The Daily News contends that the scandal-plagued Liu wants to make it tougher for snitches to chat on the phone. The paper reports: "'They are afraid that people inside are giving information out,' a Liu employee said of the persistent whispers among the staff that one in their number is giving up valuable intel." Gee, anonymous Liu employee talking to the Daily News ... wonder why they'd ever think that was going on?
