Mayor Bloomberg has finally, officially shut down his personal campaign committee, which, since he’s not running for a fourth term (yet!!! — but no, really, he’s not), he was using mostly to finance multimillion-dollar ad campaigns to counter negative publicity, especially during his negotiations with the teachers’ union. But he no longer cares what the hell people think of him! Or maybe he does, since he shut the thing down on the same day Politicker NY published a story exposing what he was using the committee to do.
