Cayman Islands May Be Saving Romney Some Money After All?

Most people, including yours truly, do not have a very deep understanding of the intricacies of tax law. So on the matter of Mitt Romney's Cayman Islands investments, we can only defer to the experts. And the experts who talked to The Wall Street Journal say that "some of the offshore holdings are likely intended to help Mr. Romney avoid paying an obscure but hefty tax of as much as 35% on some of those investments."
