Gingrich Knocks Romney in Post-Iowa Speech

Not a Romney admirer.

After a disappointing fourth-place finish in Iowa, Newt Gingrich took a thinly veiled jab at Mitt Romney while praising Rick Santorum at the same time. Referring to Santorum, Gingrich said that he’s “somebody we admire and somebody whose family we admire.”

He waged a great, positive campaign,” Gingrich continued. “I admire the courage, the discipline, the way he focused, and I also admire how positive he was. I wish I could say that for all the candidates.”

At this point it’s safe to assume that Gingrich, who hasn’t been shy about his disgust with Romney’s critical ads about him, does not find Romney admirable, great, or positive.
