Sunday was Christmas for voyeurs, otherwise known as the annual “No Pants Subway Ride” sponsored by Improv Everywhere. For the uninitiated, the No Pants Subway Ride is an event where people simply ride the subways without pants. Ideally, participants do wear underwear. This year marked the eleventh sans-pants day in New York, and nearly 4,000 riders shed their bottom garments all over the city.
But in the sixth car of a 1 train heading downtown, a trio of musicians played “La Bamba,” giving straphangers some great audio to go along with the unusual visual.
