Intense Protest in Bronx Over Police Killing of Unarmed Teen

Led by the mother of Ramarley Graham, the 18-year-old unarmed man shot and killed last week after being followed into his home by narcotics officers, outraged Bronx residents marched in protest from Graham's home to the 47th Precinct station house. The crowd chanted "NYPD-KKK," a charge capturing the protesters' feeling that police profile them and give them no chance. "They cornered that little man in his house, perfect place to ask questions, but instead of asking questions, they shoot him down right then and there," one protester said. "And they are New York's finest—what is fine about that?”
