New York State to Auction Junk on New Website


New York State is ditching its eBay account in favor of, to launch in April, which the state will use to auction a variety of junk that generated $820,000 of revenue last year. The new website is supposed to be more user-friendly. The state’s eBay account is still live, so act now or risk missing out on New York’s own pool table, 10” saw table, Sears egg incubator, massage table, or the ever-popular “miscellaneous items.” Seriously — there’s 21 bids already on “miscellaneous items.” Act now.
