A building collapsed at 608 West 130th St. just before 8 a.m. this morning, briefly trapping three people. It remains unclear what exactly caused the collapse.
Update: One of the three trapped men has died. The others, also construction workers, are in critical and serious condition at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. All three were working on a site that’s part of Columbia University’s northward expansion.
