New Census Bureau estimates indicate that the population is growing in New York City at a rate faster than suggested by 2010 Census data, particularly in Brooklyn. The estimates find that New York City added 70,000 residents in the fifteen months that ended July 1, 2011, 28,000 of them shacking up in Brooklyn since April 1, 2010, and 17,000 in Queens. There's always the Hudson Valley.
