Andrew Cuomo continues to be an extremely well-liked governor despite New Yorkers’ reservations about the recent budget deal. Although 76 percent of those polled in a new Quinnipiac tally say the “lack of transparency” around big policy decisions is a problem, Cuomo’s approval rating is still at 68 percent among voters, with Republicans and Democrats loving him equally and Independents even more.
