Penguin Attacks Newt Gingrich’s Last Shred of Dignity

NATIONAL HARBOR, MD - MAY 11: Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich prepares to address the Republican National Committee's State Chairman's meeting at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center May 11, 2010 in National Harbor, Maryland. The former Georgia politician and college professor talked to the assembled GOP leaders about how the 2010 election will "change America." Saying that President Barack Obama rammed through healthcare reform using a political "machine," Gingrich said, "We dont' need to understand it. We need to defeat it and replace it with people who are about America." (Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)

Former allies beg him to drop out. The media laughs at him. Now even the zoo animals, Newt Gingrich's only remaining friends, have begun to turn on him:

At least one penguin at the St. Louis Zoo appears to be a feisty opponent of Newt Gingrich. The Republican presidential candidate is sporting a small bandage on his finger after getting nipped by a small penguin during his tour of the zoo on Friday.

When the apocalypse happens and Newt Gingrich builds a space ark, replete with two animals of every species, you will not be invited, penguins.
