Warren Buffett’s Childhood Home Not Exciting to Anyone

NEW YORK, NY - SEPTEMBER 30: Berkshire Hathaway Chairman and CEO Warren Buffett stands on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange after ringing the opening bell on September 30, 2011 in New York City. U.S. President Barack Obama's new plan for a higher tax rate for millionaires has been dubbed the "Buffett Rule" in reference to the billionaire investor, who supports the plan. No one met the minimum eBay bid of $6,000 for a night of Omaha Steaks at the house where Warren Buffett grew up, even though it was for charity. The billionaire himself wasn't going to show up, but he was planning on supplying autographed pictures. An actual meal with Buffett, on the other hand, has been sold for $2.6 million twice, so now he'll probably have to cut the check himself.
