Yemen’s Main Airport Shut Down by Troops Loyal to Ousted President

A group of air force officers and civilians attacked the Sanna airport with anti-aircraft weapons, knocking over a control tower, blocking off roads, and grounding all flights. The action is said to be a protest against newish President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi's recent firing of key military officials appointed by former leader Ali Abdullah Saleh, who stepped down last year.
