Last night, Indiana Republican Senator Richard Lugar lost his seat after six-terms to tea party challenger Richard Mourdock in the primary race. Yes, there are still primaries happening, even though some people think the election is, like, so totally over. Our own Jonathan Chait weighed in on partisan politics on Hardball tonight: "There's been a little bit of a wave of commentary of holding up bipartisanship in and of itself as a positive value," Chait said. "If you have ideas that the other party doesn't agree with, you don't have to give those up necessarily."
