Heilemann on Last Word: Money Won in Wisconsin

Governor Scott Walker survived a historic recall vote in Wisconsin Tuesday, and while exit-polling data indicated a double-digit advantage for Obama over Romney, New York's John Heilemann said on Last Word that the result contains some bad news for Obama as well. "There is one electoral effect here that is not good for the president, which is that in a hotly contested state election — where to some extent it is about a contest between outside money and boots-on-the-ground, grassroots organizing on the other side — money won," Heilemann said. And money's victory in Wisconsin might inspire Republican donors to write a big check to support Romney in contested states this November, he added.
