A Hebrew billboard near the entrance to the Brooklyn–Battery Tunnel, reportedly sponsored by the Congregation of Yad Moshe, warns Jews headed into Manhattan, “Dear Jew: You are entering a dangerous place. Shield your eyes.” All religious considerations aside, this seems like very ill-conceived advice to give to drivers.
