Last week when Senator John McCain ran into Senator Rob Portman giving his interns a tour of the capitol, McCain was overheard telling the kids, “Now you can say you interned for Vice-President Portman.” Either he was making a joke about Portman’s presence on Mitt Romney’s short list, or this is a case of the pot calling the kettle leaky.
