It seems Erin Sayar, the 36-year-old Brooklyn teacher accused of having sex with her 16-year-old student, may be done in by her penchant for body art. Investigators reportedly believed the boy's account because he “described tattoos etched on intimate parts” of her body. The New York Daily News has uncovered a boudoir photo of Sayar posted on a Long Island social networking site, which reveals that the ink in question may be "a giant, curvaceous mermaid" located on her upper thigh. The paper provides this analysis:
Tattoo artist Vincent Castiglia of Omega Tattoos in Manhattan, said mermaid tattoos are usually associated with sirens.
“The temptress,” he said. “The sirens, as soon as they opened their mouths, you couldn’t get away from them.”
Hopefully, Castiglia went straight to police with this important lesson in mermaidology.
