After an unidentified man was kidnapped on Thursday, his friends — who'd been shaken down for $75,000 after the disappearance — called the police, who eventually located the victim in the Queens garage of a 17-year veteran of the NYPD's Brooklyn gang unit. No charges have yet been filed so far.
