While Mitt Romney would rather release his taxes than watch his wife's horse compete in the Olympics, President Obama would love to check it out if he has the chance, White House press secretary Jay Carney claimed today:
"He is interested in seeing every American entrant perform well and he'll follow every event," Carney answered when asked if Obama would watch Rafalca compete. "If his schedule allows, I think the answer to that question is yes."
"Dear Ann," Obama's note to Ann Romney will read. "I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed seeing Rafalca 'go for gold' the other day. What a treat for me and the countless other proud Americans who made time to watch it. Best, Barack."
