Fake Bronx Zoo Cobra Now Tweeting Fake Escaped British Lion
It's been about seven hours since a lion was spotted (and heard roaring) in a field outside the town of St. Osyth, in the English county of Essex, which is apparently more than enough time for some Twitter jokester to create a fake @EssexLion account. With the requisite Britishness, and several jabs at Essex's own (Jersey Shore-esque) reputation for GTL, the Essex lion has been churning out some real gems of tweets.
He's even caught the attention of another escaped zoo animal-turned-Twitter celebrity, the @BronxZoosCobra, who tweeted:
We're with you, fake back-in-captivity Bronx Zoo Cobra (aka Shawsnake). It's all about the accent.
