A Texas college student named Chance Bothe sent the foreboding text message, "I need to quit texting, because I could die in a car accident," before plunging off a bridge into a ravine this January, reports NBC affiliate WLBT. The 21-year-old suffered a broken neck, wrecked face, fractured skull, and traumatic brain injuries that he's only now ready to discuss. Bothe is determined to spread his story so others don't suffer similar — or worse — fates.
