The NYPD has released a photo of 24-year-old John Thomas, the man suspected of shooting of Sergeant Craig Bier in both legs Wednesday in Jamaica, Queens, when Bier and his partner attempted to stop Thomas, the Times reports. But it’s totally cool — the cops just want to chat with Thomas, probably talk about the Olympics or something. Said Police Commissioner Ray Kelly, “We very much want to talk to him.” No big deal.
