A U-Haul truck carrying equipment for Vice-President Joe Biden's Labor Day campaign stop in Detroit was stolen Saturday night, CNN reports. Secret Service spokesman Edward Donovan said the truck was lifted at the Westin Hotel downtown and added that the theft of the truck wouldn't impact Biden's Labor Day rally in downtown Detroit. Donovan didn't identify the contents of the vehicle and said it's now a local matter. Someone looking for the White House's traveling booze supply? The recipe's been released. Perhaps it was some GOP operative in a highly illegal but brilliant move to get Biden's teleprompter and launch him off-script.
