American Capitalism Churns on, Undeterred by Sandy

All clear!

Release the hounds! “Pent-up traders were unleashed on Wall Street” today, according to CNBC, as the New York Stock Exchange reopened after a two-day outage caused by Hurricane Sandy. Mayor Bloomberg rang the opening bell, and stocks were up in early trading, as high-frequency trading algo-bots shook the rust off and continued their quest for global domination.
