In the search for missing 39-year-old Karla Shah Boguwolski, police followed a trail of blood up the stairs in her Rockaway building straight into the landlord's apartment, where the woman was discovered stabbed to death. Boguwolski and her husband had previously filed a complaint against the landlord, a convicted criminal who has not yet been located, alleging he'd entered their apartment multipe times without permission.
