Gubernatorial girlfriend Sandra Lee reportedly stormed out of BG restaurant at Bergdorf Goodman on Tuesday night because she thought other diners were mocking her. John Luciano says he was explaining Lee's unique talents to friends, saying, “She takes an angel food cake, slices it in half, opens a can of frosting, frosts the cake, calls it semi-homemade, and makes a lot of money.” Lee mistakenly confronted a group of confused Italian tourists, saying, "I’m Sandra Lee, I have feelings, too." “I don’t want to offend anyone; I’m apologizing,” says Luciano. “I feel terrible. That’s not my style to offend people. I thought it was humorous, and I was actually giving her props.” Oh, we can tell. Why else would he relate the entire tale to the Post?
