Like the rest of the world, professional Twitter idiot Donald Trump was captivated by the story of Manti Te'o's fake dead phone girlfriend, as reported by the lovable shit-talkers at Deadspin. Although he got the journalists wrong (it was Jack Dickey, not Tom Scocca), Trump's message of congratulations to the Gawker Media sports blog seemed genuine enough. But so did their quick response, total in character and deserved, considering the target. It seems to have hurt his feelings.
