Bad week in the print-media business. Adding to today’s report about the buyout process currently under way at the Times, Time Inc. CEO Laura Lang is reportedly preparing a big round of layoffs and has frozen pay raises across the company. According to the Post, which reported the news yesterday, Lang’s plans could involve axing as many as 700 jobs.
