It’s Almost Impossible to Startle a Russian

One thing that stands out about the many dashcam videos documenting the explosion of a meteorite above Russia (aside from the sheer number of them — thanks, widespread police corruption!) is that almost none of the drivers seem to have any kind of reaction to a giant ball of fire streaming toward earth right in front of them. No yelling or shouting; no expletives. They just keep driving like nothing happened.

Meanwhile, in the U.S., we have the Bronado.

It’s amazing we won the Cold War.
