21-Year-Old Regrets Trying to Blow Up Federal Reserve Bank

"I had intended to commit a violent jihadist attack," admitted Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis in court today, pleading guilty. Nafis, with the help of the FBI, drove a van full of what he thought were explosives up to the Federal Reserve last fall and attempted to set it off using a cell-phone trigger from a nearby hotel. Now he faces 30 years to life and isn't so sure about his "destroy America" phase: "I no longer support violent jihad. I deeply and sincerely regret my involvement in this case."
