With its lower Manhattan office flooded by the storm, Daily News employees spent months working across the river in New Jersey, like the Giants and the Jets, but that particular nightmare is ending. Mort Zuckerman’s tabloid has signed a six-month lease in midtown, Crain’s reports, just a few blocks from the New York Post, which could welcome its rival to the neighborhood by removing the caps-lock key from the headline writers’ computers.
