The arrest last month of Robert Jackson outside a Queens YMCA, for allegedly cursing at an officer and refusing to show his hands, is on video, but only after they have him on the ground. The clip shows three officers struggling with the teen, and at least one punch, before a fourth runs over and appears to strike Jackson in the crotch with either a Taser or baton as he cries out. (Many more cops swarm soon after.) Jackson was charged with resisting arrest, obstruction, disorderly conduct, and possession of marijuana, but will seek to have the charges dropped, his lawyer explained at a press conference. “When I first saw my face, I was shocked,” said the 19-year-old, whose wound was indeed quite gnarly.
