All Upstate N.Y. Shooter Left Behind Was Debt and New Clothes

Kurt Myers, the 64-year-old gunman who killed four people and an FBI dog upstate last week before dying in a police shoot-out, had no manifesto, no computer, and no obvious motive, the AP reports. He lived in a spare apartment and "was just charging up his credit cards and not paying the bills," according to investigators. Myers also had no established history of mental illness, but he did have one notable quirk: "every year he would get a new wardrobe and donate his oldest set of clothes."
