Latest FDNY Twitter Racist Keeps Job for Now

Timothy “Bad Lieutenant” Dluhos, the EMS caught tweeting about Jews, “chinks,” and “coloreds” even after the Post helped force the FDNY comissioner’s son to resign for the same type of social-media idiocy, is getting off easier so far. A follow-up today reveals that Dluhos, who cried when confronted by the tabloid, will be suspended for 30 days without pay, but could still be fined or fired. In the meantime, according to one EMS source, “The FDNY is moving to get as many firefighters and EMS members who they deem as offensive off line as quickly as possible,” which seems like far too little, far too late.
