Brooklyn Students Taught Awful Lesson on Snitching

Travis Lee Steinka, a former occupational therapist at P.S. 257 in Williamsburg, claims that last November another educator had 300 students recite the mantra “snitches get stitches.” The school’s principal says Yolanda Valez, a paraprofessional, admitted to making the declaration using a microphone in the cafeteria, but apparently Steinka didn’t take her message to heart. He’s filed a civil court suit in Manhattan claiming that he was fired for reporting the incident.
