New York congressional hopeful Sean Eldridge, husband of Facebook millionaire and New Republic owner Chris Hughes, has already cemented an important allegiance with Andrew Cuomo. The governor has “pledged his full support,” Capitol Confidential reports, in an expected 2014 race against Representative Chris Gibson in the Hudson Valley district where Eldridge and Hughes just bought a $2 million home, their third. The Rolodex is strong with this one after successful Democratic fund-raising in the fight for gay marriage and campaign-finance reform. Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi were also wedding guests.
