It took Bangladeshi soldiers 40 minutes to bulldoze through the debris to rescue Reshma. In the garment factory collapse nearly three weeks ago that has already claimed the lives of over 1,000 workers, the young woman had managed to hide herself in a prayer room deep within the carnage. Eventually, she waved a pipe in the air to get the attention of nearby workers and, when they found her, she was in surprisingly great shape, with the crowds outside cheering, claiming a miracle had occurred. She was found hiding in a prayer room on the day of Muslim prayer.
