President Barack Obama plans to take a visit to the Jersey Shore next Tuesday after this weekend’s semi-official opening of the season, where he’ll take something of a reunion tour with his old pal Gov. Chris Christie. You’ll recall that Republicans were none too happy about Christie’s affection toward the president during his last visit — and Christie wasn’t any happier with them. On this visit, though, with crisis mode over, odds are on a subdued handshake between the two, rather than another embrace.
