Ohio kidnapping victim Amanda Berry celebrated her freedom by making her first public appearance on Saturday night. In sunglasses, jeans, and a black T-shirt, Berry came onstage with Nelly during the RoverFest concert at Voinovich Park in Cleveland. Concertgoer Kayleigh Fladung described the scene to the Cleveland Plain Dealer (which also has some photos of the show):

"[Nelly] said, 'Everyone, here's Amanda Berry,' and she came out with a friend, another young woman. She didn't say anything, but she was smiling and happy. She waved to the crowd, everyone went crazy cheering, and she went backstage. Nelly did his set, 4 or 5 songs, and then he brought her out again and everyone cheered."

On Friday, Castro plead guilty to holding Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight captive for over a decade. He'll be in prison for life, plus at least 1,000 years.
