Not knowing what else to do about the shooting in Newtown, Conn., everybody from James Taylor to the Yankees has offered performances, tickets, and tributes to the grieving town, and apparently it's getting a little overwhelming. First Selectman E. Patricia Llodra recently wrote on her blog that the town would stop accepting such offers. "I believe that the time is coming for us to move into a quiet period, of rest, recuperation and healing," she said. But they're not going to cancel already-planned summer activities, including a show by Big Time Rush.
