Map Shows What Each Neighborhood of New York City Complains About the Most

By
LOUD NOISES.

The Furman Center took a look at all of the 311 complaints from last summer and compiled them in a map highlighting each neighborhood's top gripe. (They released a more comprehensive spreadsheet as well). Some random observations:

  • There are a lot of monsters out there complaining about the noise coming from ice-cream trucks in parks. Stop trying to ruin everyone's childhood, you monsters.
  • Woodside, Queens, has a "loud talking" problem, for some reason.
  • One small area of South Brooklyn is apparently plagued with dead animals. This is where the apocalypse will begin.
