A soulless man in a white bucket hat, identified as Darryyl Walker, allegedly took the elevator with a 67-year-old woman and her green parrot, Cuca, before mugging her at gunpoint for the bird. Security footage shows Walker, who was on parole for robbery, bolting down the steps with the cage. He was caught and later confessed to stealing and selling Cuca, but the parrot has, tragically, yet to be recovered. Big, green exotic birds can apparently fetch more than $1,000, according to BirdsNow.com.
