Pepper-Spray Cop Is Tired of Answering Questions

Anthony Bologna is tired of talking about that time he was recorded pepper-spraying Occupy protesters, so he’s asked a court to block the Civilian Complaint Review Board from questioning him, according to the Daily News. Since the eighteen-month deadline has passed, any punishment the board recommends can’t be handed down. Plus, Bologna argues that since the city won’t represent him in a federal civil rights lawsuit and he’s been docked ten vacation days, he’s already been punished enough. If the court disagrees he could get back those vacation days, as officers who refuse to answer to the CCRB can be suspended immediately.
